Electrode Production plant
The electrode production plant of Pasargad Alloy Steel Complex commenced operations in 2020, with an initial capacity of 3,500 tons per year. Currently, efforts are underway to expand its capacity to the same 3,500 tons per year. Within the electrode production unit, a graphitization process is employed to convert baked electrodes into graphite electrodes. The dimensions of the produced electrodes are 400 and 700 millimeters in diameter. Following the completion of this process, the graphite electrodes undergo machining and are subsequently utilized in the EAF and LF furnaces within the steel making plant.
