Post Treatment Plant
The Post Treatment plant focuses on enhancing the final properties of rolled products and improving their surface quality to meet customer demands. This plant plays a crucial role in preparing the final products for delivery to customers, with its finishing operations leading to increased product quality and added value. In this process, in order to achieve various properties such as hardness, toughness, machinability, etc., steels are subjected to heat treatments. Different heat treatment operations, including normalizing, spheroidizing, isothermal annealing, full annealing, stress relieving, and others, are applied to various steel grades, such as spring steel, constructional steel, bearing steel, saw blade steel, etc. Another important process within the post treatment plant is the implementation of non-destructive tests on the products. The implementation of this plant within the Pasargad Alloy Steel Industries directly impacts its success and competitiveness. Currently, the first phase of this project, including the heat treatment line and black bar, has an annual capacity of 120,000 tons and became operational in 2024.
